About This Website
Welcome to this new and developing website. Pacific Northwest Defoliators is intended as an educational public outreach resource to provide accurate information on the diverse plant-feeding insects in the Pacific Northwest. It is for landscape managers, home gardeners, educators or anyone interested in the diversity of defoliators in the region. Initial focus are the species most commonly found in the Puget Sound area and will be expanded as the site develops to include additional information and links. Information on other species will be added as input from surveys and public participation are collected.
